Roman blinds feature fabric that, when you lift and open the blind, creates a stunning pleat that folds underneath itself when raised up to the top of the blind. This look is achieved by dividing the fabric into panels. A lift rod is sewn into the back lining. Cords are fed onto these rods to raise the panels up and underneath each other, giving the Roman bind its classic look. A neat concertina / pleated look results. Panels of fabrics will be even creating a neat, even lift when the blind is open.
